OMG! This was delicious—just what was needed on a cold, wet, December day! Made it exactly as printed except I didn’t have currants and the young checker at the grocery store did t even know what I was talking about☹️ Used a cup of very strong Irish Breakfast tea and a glug of whiskey. Love everything about this — my spice cookies and panatone will just have to wait for a few days.
