would it work to make the cookies the day before and not put the jam on them until right before you're ready to serve or do the cookies need to be warm for best effect? Devon, that would totally work; the cookies don't need to be warm. Jam is soft enough that you can spread it out whatever temp. the cookies are... Enjoy - PJH
