Thank you Susan for the shout-out! While I love to bake cakes, my first love is sugar sculpting by creating art pieces using sugar products. Having said that, I have also found that sculpting cakes is just as rewarding as producing a sugar sculpture. This “King Arthur Baking Sheet” chocolate cake was a fun creation and yummy to boot. I placed third at the Minnesota State Fair and since it was visually interesting, I also got the chance to appear on a local TV program to recreate it. Overall the experience was very rewarding and I’m encouraging anyone reading this to consider entering their local fair baking contests as you will be genuinely surprised by all the fun you will have!
