If you are looking to make a festive shortbread that does not require a pudding mix, you can start by using our recipe for Irish Cream Shortbread, which you can access here: http://bit.ly/1EVW61m. To make it very similar to this recipe featured in the blog post, add 1/4 teaspoon of pistachio flavoring in place of the Irish whiskey and a few drops of green food coloring until the dough reaches your desired shade of green. Still use the 2/3 cup of chopped pistachios and press them into the top of the shortbread to get a nutty, sweet crunch on top. Good luck and happy baking! --Kye@KAF
