Delicious! These remind me of my Grandmother, she wasn't the best cook but added to sherry to everything she made "to make it taste better." I used the KA all purpose white wheat flour and added the juice of one lemon and almond extract to the batter and then a little fresh orange juice to the icing. Wonderful recipe! Thanks! Your grandmother and my grandmother must have come from the same school of cooking! What a great story. Your recipe tweaks sound delicious! Molly @ KAF Those sound terrific!
