Oh yum! I don't have the candied orange peel, is it okay to sub in one grated orange? I have some of the Fiori di Sicilia from you all...I LOVE it!!! Thanks for the great idea!!! Orange zest will help with the flavor. Since 1/2 cup of candied orange peel is used in the recipe you will need to experiment to see how much zest will give you the orange flavor you seek.
