I have made the Walter Sands loaf several times in my bread machine and manually. It makes a large loaf and since I like to experiment ,I’m going to make some baguettes. We eat a lot of Cuban sandwiches here in Florida. I have also substituted buttermilk for the water and this results in a dense loaf that toasts well and makes a great cheese sandwich. Bon Appetite!
