Can this be made in the loaf pan with the lid (I can't remember the name, but the one that makes square bread)? I've been looking for a different recipe to try for that pan. Yes, Toni, this should work in the pain de mie pan - the 13" one. Not sure if it'll fill it quite to the top; generally, the pan takes 4 1/2 cups of flour and this recipe calls for 4 cups. But give it a try; it'll be tasty, if perhaps not perfectly square-edged. PJH
