"Usually 9” x 5” pans are for quick breads, 8 1/2” x 4 1/2” pans are for yeast loaves." Do you know, in all the years I've been cooking and messing about with baking, this is the *first* time I've run across this?! No *wonder* my bread never rose as much as it should! I am ordering a smaller pan immediately. Light bulb moment, eh, Cindy? Watch how high your bread rises once you have that new pan! :) PJH
