I JUST WANT TO SAY THAT I VERY SELDOM FOLLOW A RECIPE EXACTLY (UNLESS IT IS FOR BAKED GOODS AND EVEN THEN I'M A BIT OF A REBEL) TO ME ONE OF THE JOYS OF COOKING IS MY OWN PERSONAL EXPRESSION AND INTERPRETATION. I ALWAYS TAKE A LITTLE BIT OF THIS AND A PINCH OF THAT FROM NUMEROUS SOURCES, AND ADD A TOUCH OF MY OWN INSTINCTS TO A RECIPE. LIKE YESTERDAY I WANTED TO MAKE CHICKEN FAJITAS. I CHECKED SEVERAL INTERNET SOURCES AND JOTTED DOWN SOME OF THE BASIC INGREDIENTS TO BE SURE I HAD THEM ON HAND. I THEN WENT TO MY KITCHEN AND GOT CREATIVE WITH GREAT RESULTS. (I'M NOT ALWAYS THIS LUCKY) I APPLAUD YOUR SUCCESSFUL DIVERSITY HERE WITH THE SOUP. I CAN'T WAIT TO TRY IT, AND ADD MY OWN TWIST. We're looking forward to hearing about your variations! I admit I may be a recipe slave most of the time, but love to hear about other bakers successful products and take on a recipe. Irene @ KAF
