Hey, P.J.! You just kick-started my memory chip!!!! I have a recipe for Italian Wedding Soup that I have yet to make..........hm-m-m-m, guess it's about time to do so. Florida isn't exactly soup central although with the winter we've had so far, I have made a couple - clam "chowdah" (a nod to my N.E. roots!!) and a chicken soup. Rather than canned broth, I use Kitchen Basics chicken stock; makes all the difference in the world!! That scali looks absolutely dee-lish as well! It's supposed to rain this weekend, and I can't think of anything more satisfying than spending time in the kitchen. Thanks again for yet another entertaining as well as informative blog.....and don't let those naysayers get you down!!!!! Hi Sue - you've had your share of cold weather this winter, I understand - hope things are warming up for you now (though not enough to make it too hot for soup and chowdah...) I'll keep that Kitchen Basics stock in mind. Thanks for joining in the discussion! PJH
