A bread machine has a dough cycle and it does the first rising. I think the cornmeal ??might be to coat the bottom?? Heartburn might be some red pepper that are in a lot of Italian sauce in Pizza. I love it I can tell its in there and it DOES me cause heartburn. I can't tolerate ANY pepper except white pepper. I like to substitute 1/3 of the flour with SEMOLINA flour. I LOVE Semolina. Nancy
