I really wanted to make the Garlic Spicy Nuts, but, I didn't have pecans or walnuts and was out of oil. So I opted to make Garlic Spicy Crackers substituting 2 sleeves of Ritz crackers (could use saltine) and instead of oil, I used 3 TBS butter, melted. Mixed all ingredients together, threw in crackers, coated well, layed single layer on stone bar pan and baked 325 degrees for 10 minutes, flipped them and baked another 10 minutes. Let cool and stored in airtight container. Hit the spot for my salty, spicy craving :) Good for you Charlotte! That's the way to improvise. Hope you try it again when you have nuts on hand. ~ MaryJane
