Certainly, Marilee! If your cloche can be preheated, preheat the base and transfer your loaf onto it via parchment before putting the lid on. (Heating the lid itself is optional. If your cloche can't be preheated, you can let your loaf rise in the cloche, again on a piece of parchment paper, so that you'll be able to easily remove it later on. Remove the lid when there's about 15 mintues left of the bake time.
