Jeanne, for best results you may want to freeze the cookies separately and then fill them with jam before serving. However, they can also be frozen assembled for up to one month. They may become slightly soft if you choose to use this method; you might consider using a low-moisture fruit spread (like preserves or jam) as opposed to a liquid-y jelly. Letting them thaw slowly in the fridge overnight is the best way to bring them to room temperature. Happy baking! Kye@KAF
