I'd like to try the buttermilk powder, but it doesn't make sense to order it online. I've never seen it in a grocery store, though. Any suggestions about where I might find it? Is there something to substitute? There's often buttermilk powder in the supermarket, near the dry milk - Saco brand is quite common. You might try using fresh buttermilk in place of the water in the crust recipe. Or simply leave the buttermilk out. Frank @ KAF.
