Lately we've been into scones especially with your cinnamon bites, so this recipe will get a test run real soon. Here in the mid-west we have "Holiday Nog," an egg nog drink that uses 2% milk instead of whole milk (I think.) Please share your thoughts if this might be a fair substitute for regular egg nog. Be honest - I'll use the real thing if you think it might detract from what I'm anticipating to be a most excellent scone. BTW - Egg Nog Syurp...Pumpkin Egg Nog? My, my. where do you find these earthly delights? Tom, 2% eggnog would be just fine, and your waistline will probably thank you... We have pumpkin eggnog (and cinnamon eggnog! and soy eggnog! and fat-free eggnog - something for everyone) in New England - I think it comes from our biggest milk producer, Hood Milk. Eggnog syrup, haven't seen except online - sounds yummy, though- PJH
