I am wanting this look for icing sugar cookies, but I do not like how hard the icing gets. Do you have any suggestions for a tiny bit softer icing but to still be able to get this look? You'll need to use a frosting, containing a fat, to pipe the surface decoration over the flooded icing. Like this: http://www.kingarthurflour.com/recipes/easy-vanilla-frosting-recipe Frank @ KAF.
