This looks wonderful. I have always been too intimidated to try brioche. Is there a reason for using this pan instead of the traditional brioche pan? I have to admit, the pan was one reason I've always wanted to try this. HI Ernestine, You certainly could make this in a traditional brioche pan. We like the ring, it's rather festive as the holidays draw near, but other shapes are just fine. ~ MaryJane
