I just came across this blog post while I was looking at the recipe for Sharing Bread. Here's the weird part. I found the recipe while I was looking in the shopping section for ascorbic acid. That page directs you to the Sharing Bread Recipe as one that uses ascorbic acid, and yet it is not listed as an ingredient! Many of the reviews on the recipe page mention the ascorbic acid, as do several comments here. I thought perhaps that I was losing my mind, (always a possibility!), until I read the very last comment posted by Nancy back in December. THANKS NANCY!!! Can't wait to make this bread - sounds wonderful!
