Hi, Made the apple crisp yesterday and got raves from the family. "This is a keeper" was the overall rating. I only had Macintosh apples so sliced them thicker and that worked fine. Used locally processed apple juice with the boiled cider and was it ever a "fall" taste. The topping was delicious. Not too crunchy but just enough to add to the all-over flavor.
