What kind of shortening do you use specifically, something like Crisco or shortening in a bar like butter? Generally "shortening" refers to a solid vegetable product that is 100% fat. Butter isn't 100% fat because it contains milk solids also. Mary @ KAF Here in the test kitchen, we use trans-fat free Crisco in the tubs. Hope that helps. :) ~ MaryJane
