Hi Janice, it depends a little on what type of Stevia baking product you use. If it's straight stevia you may need to add other ingredients to replace the "bulk" that regular sugar provides, as explained in this article. If you're using a sugar substitute that is meant to work as a 1:1 replacement for sugar, this shouldn't be necessary, but I would follow the directions for substituting carefully. In the case of the Whole Grain Brownies, if you happened to measure your flour by cups, it's possible you added extra flour to the recipe, which could also contribute to a stiff/dry result. For best results we recommend either weighing your flour or using this method to measure your flour by cups.
