Growing up outside NYC, I had these all the time. My sister would eat the chocolate half and I'd eat the vanilla half - until I grew up and decided chocolate wasn't so bad after all. I would love to make these! Is there anything to use instead of corn syrup in the icing? I don't keep it in the house. You could try honey, Ariel - it might make the white icing more tan, but I'm thinking it would work fine. PJH
