We call them half moon cookies here in central NY. They are my Hubby's absolute favorite! I can't wait to try your recipe to see if he likes them better than the one I use now. :-) Any ideas for pears? I'm buried in them!!! thanks,Sue Ten pear recipes right here, Sue - :) PJH
