Made several batches of these at Christmas and chilled well into the second day and still had trouble with them puddling. Here is the big question, what kind of shortening should be used (please, no Crisco!). Is Earth Balance acceptable? I'm almost positive coconut oil is a giant "NO". Melting too quickly etc.? Love these cookies actually with a bit of fleur de sel on top ! We are crazy for salty/sweet here! Thanks for all the great work!!
