I have to say I was pretty happy with how my first attempt at this came out. I have had way less than stellar results when I have tried to make anything involving yeast.The bottom crust was crunchy with the top crust being chewy and the inside was soft. Pretty yummy stuff! I cut the recipe in half since there is just the two of us and we have pretty much finished the first loaf right out of the oven. The other is gonna be wrapped and frozen for future use.
Thanks for a recipe that all level bread bakers can be successful at! I may get adventurous and try something else now...lol......
