Ok, you should know someone is going to eventually ask this question, but could I use butter flavor shorten? LOL I like baking with it. Yes, you absolutely can use butter-flavored shortening, Kimberly. Your cookies will be a bit crisper/crunchier. And they may not spread quite so much. I think they'll be just fine. PJH
