My grandfather was a baker in the 1890's until 1934. I have his cookbook from the bakeshop with handwritten recipes. There is a crumb cake recipe in it. Unfortunately, the ingredients are in pounds, quarts, gallons, etc. I have cut down some of his recipes but not this one. I will have to see how your recipe compares to his. What a wonderful resource, Margaret. I hope we're up to snuff! PJH
