Hey, Keith, I'll bet if you add a little mace to the recipe (cutting down on the nutmeg as PJH suggests, I'll bet the flavor will be more faithful to the original Zwieback! I intend to try this recipe for my 7 month old grandbaby (who will drool and make a mess and LOVE it!) mlc
