I just wanted to say I was surfing for recipes I hadn't ever heard of and stumbled across your article. I was delighted to see the reference to Trenary Toast!! I live abt 25mns from Trenary. In my youth I was there quite a bit often staying with my best friend. Its cool to know a local food has reached further than I thought! Perhaps you will try our pasties! Not pronounced "paste", its pronounced "past-eez". Soooo many variations but my favorite is beef, pork, venison!
