I add "Cinnabon" flavored Cream of wheat (dry) to my pancakes batter. The FLAVOR & TEXTURE is off the hook, delicious! I sometimes, spread a bit of honey-cinnamon-butter on them with a few drizzles of sweet "cream cheese" icing. Yummy goodness! ;-D I have also made pancakes with "yeast"...an imitation of the infamous RUSSIAN PANCAKES! Taste like a cross between a doughnut & pancake. Just let the yeast "proof" in the batter several hours or over night. Pour on a oily, hot griddle & bake until golden brown. Serve with your favorite jams,spreads, fresh fruit and/or syrups. SO DELICIOUS...especially with raspberry "donut" type jelly & a light sprinkling of confectioner's sugar(powered sugar).
