I barely got a rise…..can I increase the yeast amount?
I baked in my cast iron cloche baker at 425 for 20 minutes.
Removed the top to finish the bake……..to get this loaf to 202 I will end up w a solid chunk of crust so I lowered the temp a bit and baked another 10 minutes, still only at 180.
I gave up and took it out to cool
Should I have not preheated the oven? Or should I have not preheated the baker?
Do disappointed after waiting 18 hours😵‍💫
