Adding some additional festivity to the flavor and aroma of the no-knead harvest bread, I've been adding Chinese Five Spice Powder, 1/2 tsp+ to the dough mix each time build it. This particular blend, purchased from the local Wegman's groceries contains cinnamon, anise, fennel, ginger, clove and licorice root. I bake a loaf every weekend and love the flavors.
