I made this bread for the first time today. It was very difficult to get it out of the casserole. I lightly oiled the casserole which is a coated ceramic dish and cover. Next time I would use parchment paper as a liner. I also would cut the amount of cranberries, walnuts and raisins by one half. Sue: that is precisely what I would recommend on the next batch. Also, when you wash the pot, be sure not to use soap and simply soak in warm water and then scrub well. It should develop a nice patina over time, but sticky doughs (especially laden with dried fruit) will post some sticking issues. A square of parchment will go a long way to help release the loaf.
