I broke down and got a Pizzelle maker 3 months ago... and my first attempts were so dismal that I never tried again. I had no idea the "secret" was to trim the ragged edges with a pair of scissors!!!! That's ingenious! I feel so much better now :) Thank you! Em, try again - use this recipe - really, you can do it!
