Thanks. Do you know where I can get mahlep? or what I can use in its place? Hi Fran: It's faintly cherry, kind of almond - you could try a combination of those two flavors, with the almond predominating. You can also easily purchase mahlep at Middle Eastern groceries, or online - just Google it. Hope this helps - PJH
