I made these today with Tangzhong method. Used 1/2 cup each currants and citron. I should have reduced the amount of apple juice and just soaked the currants, candied citron won't soak up liquid. I made about 15 rolls, and the buns in the center row didn't seem quite cooked. Will use more pans next time. Flavor is quite mild but pleasant. I haven't tried them with frosting yet. These are keepers!
