Mariana, we've found that adding chocolate chips to brownies is one of the key things that helps give brownies a crackly top. (Check out the results of this testing here.) We've also found that heating the sugar with the butter so that it melts before adding the other ingredients can also help encourage a shiny/crackly top. Give both of those things a try the next time you bake a batch of brownies — we think you'll like the results! Kye@KAF
