Marita, we're so glad to here these brownies are such a hit with you and your friends! Be sure your espresso powder is sealed tightly in the refrigerator, or it may pick up moisture and harden. The key to keeping your espresso powder powdery is protecting it from moisture in the air. We recommend storing it cool and dry. Barb@KAF
