I LOVE these brownies - the only ones I make anymore. For Cinco de Mayo I wanted to add a little Mexican flair. I make the half sheet pan size recipe. I added 4 tsp of cinnamon and 2 tsp of cayenne pepper. I knew this would probably mess with the end result...and of course it did. the brownies were dry (hmmm - wonder if it was from that extra 6 tsp of dry ingredients:)
Any suggestions on how I could incorporate the cayenne and cinnamon for the mexican brownies but not dry out the the overall consistency?
