The brownies look divine! Could I use margarine, oil or shortening or a combination instead of butter? Than you so much for any advice you could give me regarding this matter. Sure, margarine is fine, and would be your best bet; just be sure it's regular margarine, not low-fat or "lite." Enjoy - PJH
