you're right, challah french toast is the best. after all, what could be better than dipping an egg bread into eggs? some of the "jewish food" given by the original poster are incorrect. i don't know who told you that you can't eat walnuts on passover. a flourless chocolate cake is not necessarily "pesedich" (suitable for passover consumption) after all, matzoh is made from flour. any questions? Someone said no walnuts on Rosh Hashanah because the letters in the Hebrew word "walnut" add up to something bad... ? I didn't quite get it, but I defer to those who know what they're talking about - which isn't me. Thanks for your offer to help - PJH
