Hi David! Peanut butter can substituted for butter in a 1:1 swap if the peanut butter in question is first combined in a 50/50 split of peanut butter and oil (preferably vegetable oil). To pull this off in your recipe, you would use 1.5 tablespoons of both peanut butter and vegetable oil and 3 tablespoons of butter. Feel free to increase the peanut butter up to 100% using this method of substitution. Happy baking!
