Mollie, thaw the roll just enough that you can cut it. The cookies don't need to be completely thawed before slicing and baking. The first batch may possibly need a minute or so more in the oven to fully bake, but they also thaw quickly once sliced, so any subsequent batches should bake for the normal amount of time.
