As I said above these will work with lots of different fillings. I have done them using the lemon cream filling from KA lemon braided bread and they were terrific. Today we did them using the recipe for KA brownie crisps for a filling. One brownie crisps recipe works perfect for one recipe of the cookie dough. Two logs. Just spread the brownie crisps dough on the cookies instead of dates. Then roll as before.
