I made the fruitcake for Christmas, everyone really loved it. I have never been a fan of the 'other' fruitcake, but my mom used to make one that our family really liked. My mom has been ill so when I saw the recipe I burst into tears remembering her making her fruitcake. So, I tried your recipe because I like dried fruit and while it was baking my house smelled so good, I never had such a great smell before. Thanks!!!
