Hi ,When I make dumplings I do similar to Gail's. I put them in indifferent place so they do not stick together while cooking! They get big and fluffy and that is the way we like them! Nothing worse than thick doughy dumplings or noodles either they are yucky, like they are not done! I know too many guys who think dumplings are supposed tp be doughy & think, found out that was the way mom made them!! Believe me when they tried mine that was it for them!! Now they love pillows of softness and light as a feather! My husband fell in love with me because I am a good cook and baker from scratch! His neighbor told him I was a keeper too! Been married almost 24 years!
