Hi Patty, This recipe for the biga is 3:2 ratio by weight, not by volume. At this point, I wouldn't add more water to the biga. You can add a tad bit of water to the final dough if it seems dry. We recommend using a scale to weigh your ingredients. You may have added too much flour. Hope this helps and happy baking!
