My rolling mat directions state "DON'T USE A KNIFE OR CUTTING WHEEL". There is no mentioning NOT ROLLING. If you have a silicone mat, what else would you do with it? Shelf liner? Bird cage bottom? (Just kidding) Happy rolling!! PS I also don't use my silicone mat very often. Mostly for pie dough but really rarely. Wax paper or parchment paper works well. Old School.
